Abstract

Various substituted chalcone derivatives (4A-4E) were synthesized. The structures of these compounds were established by spectral (IR, 1H-NMR, Mass) analysis. The synthesized compounds were screened for their antihyperglycemic activity. Compound 4-C (2-(3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-yl) phenol) was found to possess potent antihyperglycemic activity.
